| The
NJPRO Foundation and the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall
University have once again partnered to publish the fourth volume
of Publications of New Jersey's Business Faculty. This is a compilation
of scholarly research on business-related issues that are relevant
and educational to New Jersey firms. It celebrates the business
intellectual capital at colleges of business within the State.
This collaboration
is a natural fit for both organizations. The NJPRO Foundation educates
decision makers and the business community about important policy
issues of the day and their possible impact on the business world.
The Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University seeks to
improve the learning environment of students and faculty and to
enhance the effectiveness of business organizations. Together, they
have compiled the research works of New Jersey business faculty
published in 2004. Making the connection between the classroom and
the board room is a goal of NJPRO. Through this publication, the
Foundation and the Stillman School aim to do just that, bring the
business and academic communities together.
As we did last
year, we are also honored to confer Bright Idea Awards, recognizing
outstanding research contained in this volume, and Teaching Notes
Awards, recognizing innovations in business instruction. For next
year’s awards and publication, we invite members of the academic
and business communities to email us about research they are working
on and invite them to submit an abstract for consideration. Submit an idea for next year!
